This article reviews collections of essays written in honor of prominent scholars in the field of the New Testament. The focus is particularly on theological themes in the writings of the New Testament, as well as on questions concerning the introduction into the New Testament and on the history of New Testament research. Furthermore, essays on questions of intertextuality, philology and the history of theNewTestament era are reviewed. The article provides an overview of prevailing trends in New Testament research over the last 15 years.
