Moralismus als Herausforderung der Ethik

In both philosophical and socio-political discussions, it has become common to refer to a morally questionable way of morally judging and blaming others as »moralism.« However, there is no consensus on what exactly constitutes moralism or what makes it morally problematic or wrong. This article reviews a number of recent publications on the topic. It focuses on two main questions: first, a more precise conceptual definition of what »moralism« entails, and second, an exploration of the key systematic questions that the problem of moralism raises.
