Noch einmal: Zur Unterscheidung von Theologie und Religion

Acknowledging the distinction between religion and theology, discussed in this article are the changes currently taking place in academic theology as well as in the relationship between religious practice and theological theory. Phenomena of estrangement between religion and theology, but also of equation and adoption, thus come into view. From a practical theological perspective, the article explores whether and to what extent these developments can be described as a 'crisis' and what potential the distinction between religion and theology could have in the future.
