Reading the Psalms with (Jewish) Medievals and Moderns

This essay considers how medieval Jewish commentaries on Psalms intersect with modern commentaries. The assumptions and methods of interpretation, as well as the results, are interesting to compare and they make us more aware of how premodern and contemporary exegetes ascertain the meaning of words and passages.
