Überarbeitung der DFG-Denkschrift »Sicherung guter wissenschaftlicher Praxis«

The Code of the German Research Foundation (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft - DFG) »Guidelines for Safeguarding Good Research Practice« was adopted by the DFG's General Assembly in 2019. It follows on from the memorandum »Safeguarding Good Scientific Practice«, which systematically addressed the topic for the first time in 1998. On its basis, the scientific community initiated self-regulation and formulated principles that have since gained general consensus. Nevertheless, at some point it was time to take account of the changes in scientific work and the experience gained in dealing with cases of scientific misconduct by the DFG's Committee for the Investigation of Allegations of Scientific Misconduct. This article describes the revision of the guidelines for good scientific practice.
