Antikes Judentum und frühes Christentum 2002 -2019

This collective review surveys two subject areas within the history and literature of ancient Judaism and early Christianity. Both areas continue to attract growing international interest within contemporary religious historical and theological research. The first section considers books on various aspects of the relationship of and mutual perception between Jews and Christians from the first century to the common era to the Middle Ages. The second section surveys recent research on transcendental phenomena, imagination, apocalypticism, and mysticism in ancient Jewish and Christian texts.
