The use of autonomous digital agents for business transactions is progressing steadily. This article aims to show that the underlying economic problem is already known. A technologyneutral private law does not have to judge such technical innovations, but rather enable their application. In this respect, the existing regulations are suitable for dealing with the use of digital agents in business transactions.
