Die Vermittlung des Heiligen bei Nathan Söderblom

An elementary part of Söderblom's thinking and practical activities was the idea of the Holy, which is experienced by the individual as evoking both fear and trust. It must not be equated with any secular or religious community. Yet by means of conflict and cooperation it is to be imparted in relations between states, religions and Christian denominations as selfless love or its analogy, the majesty of international law, in order to achieve peaceful unity in diversity.
