Summary
Climate change litigation is obviously a growing area of practice for NGOs and lawyers as well as for courts and judges. But how realistic is it for individuals to successfully conduct climate change related proceedings and search for legal protection? The article reflects on the different possibilities individuals in Austria do already have to place climate change related concerns within the framework of different proceedings before national civil and administrative courts as well as it focusses on the recent rulings with a constitutional focus.
