Summary
The hypothesis of Luke-Acts has currently lost its self-evident status. It is controversially discussed in many respects: narrative, conceptual and authorial unity, genre relationship and textual pragmatics, canonical function, shape and significance in the Marcion crisis. This essay critically traces these discussions and reassesses the literary accomplishment of »Luke.«
