Nicht nur eine Erinnerung, sondern eine narrative Vergegenwärtigung Erwägungen zur Hermeneutik der Evangelienschreibung

In this article, the author presents an analogy between the representation (...) of Jesus mentioned in the words of institution of the Eucharist and the hermeneutic concept of the gospels. Based on a »hermeneutics of representation,« the former can be described as sacramental representation, the latter as narrative representation of Jesus. This is exemplified by selected passages from the gospels which reveal this concept of representation. A hermeneutical approach of this kind can at least help to overcome the distinction between the »historical Jesus« and the »Christ of faith.«
