Summary
Limitations of cognition play an important role throughout the book of Job. While some of the respective hints may be incidental, others show that the authors consciously thought about the limitations of cognitive capacities of humans (and perhaps God). This article provides an overview on where and how the book of Job addresses or touches on limitations of cognition. The focus is both on the content of respective statements and their function.
