Staatsschuldenrecht, Finanzkrise und Nachhaltigkeit Eine kritische Analyse der neuen Schuldenbremse und ihres Bezugs zur Eurokrise

This contribution deals with the legal requirements with regard to state debt after the German reform of federalism. The problem of national debt is also analysed in the light of the ongoing Euro crisis and financial crisis. In the end, serious doubts arise as regards the practical enforceability of the new German rules on national debt. Furthermore, it is important to recognise, that more important than rules for national debt is solving the problems that lead to an increasing debt.
