Summary
The paper concerns Ralf Stolina's remarkable text which was published in ZThK. It acknowledges the value of his historical investigation of the terminological differentiation between an immanent and an economic trinity, which was developed in the time of German Idealism. It criticizes, however, the hermeneutical and dogmatic consequences of Stolina's investigation. The criticism addresses inter alia Stolina's claims concerning a semantic change in the terminological differentiation between »immanence« and »transcendence.« Most importantly, however, the critic questions Stolina's problematization of the theological discourse on God's »inside.« The author insists, with Martin Luther, on the Christian's assuredness about what God is »inside«: namely that God loves himself and, even more so, that he loves us.
