Summary
Virtually all New Testament writings refer to the Old Testament, often in the form of its Greek translation, the Septuagint. This existed in the first century in its original form and in a Hebraised form. The essays in this volume examine the history of the text from their own perspective, but with constant reference to the close connection between the New Testament text and the Old Testament original.
