A type of freedom which wants to fulfill itself in interpersonal mutuality is characteristic for Christian life, according to the Protestant theologian Traugott Koch (1937–2015). In his collected essays, he explains this hypothesis from the perspectives of fundamental theology, the philosophy of religion, a diagnosis of the times, social ethics and ecclesiology.
