The Beiträge zur Ordnungstheorie und Ordnungspolitik (BOrd) series, edited by the Walter Eucken Institute in Freiburg, was founded as »Vorträge und Aufsätze« in 1958, a title which was used until 1997. Since this time, more than 170 concise scholarly titles dealing with the theory of economic order and ordoliberalism have been published. Its renowned authors include Karl Schiller, Friedrich A. Lutz, Albert Hahn, Friedrich A. von Hayek and more recently Udo DiFabio, Wolfgang Kersting, Paul Kirchhof, Ernst-Joachim Mestmäcker.
