The Freiburg Jurisprudential Studies continue the tradition of a faculty establishing its own series for outstanding dissertations, habilitations and conference volumes from all areas of jurisprudence. In an era of increasing specialization, the selection of high-quality writings published by authors of this faculty in the new series gives an impression of the research carried out at one of the renowned German faculties of law and at the same time provides a contribution to an interdisciplinary discourse.
