Jus Publicum
Beiträge zum öffentlichen Recht
The Jus Publicum. Beiträge zum öffentlichen Recht series primarily provides a suitable platform for habilitations and monographs written by professors whose field is public law.
The series encompasses the »classic« branches of public law, in particular constitutional law (including the theory of fundamental rights, methodology and the general theory of the state) and administrative law. It does not exclude interdisciplinary subjects as long as the work concerned focuses on public law.
Most of the titles in this series do not confine themselves to German law, since in accordance with the current laws the issues dealt with in the works have often been influenced by European law. In addition, it is becoming increasingly important to obtain insight into legal systems in other countries by means of comparative law, and this applies to international law as well.
This ambitious and appealing series is extremely successful. Since it was established, more than 160 volumes have been published, an indication that the series does provide more than just a random selection of current research in public law. It also reflects the standard and the present significance of public law in Germany. Within a relatively short period of time, the Jus Publicum series has made a name for itself in Germany and in other countries as well.
