Rechtsordnung und Wirtschaftsgeschichte
Edited by Albrecht Ritschl, Mathias Schmoeckel, and Günther Schulz
The Legal System and Economic History series is at the interface between history, economics and the law. It is based on the realization that the legal system structures the actions of market players, accounts for path dependence, and that economic dynamics forces or spawns new laws, at least in the long run. In this series, the editors provide an interdisciplinary forum for works which analyze this mutual dependence of normative systems and real economic developments as well as the underlying concepts of order from a historical perspective.
